Attention Tournament Players.
The board members discussed whether or not we should have a tournament on the last saturday of the month. It was thought that there would be far too many public players and picnicers during that day because it is a holiday weekend. So as of today the monthly is officially cancelled. The next Monthly Tournament will be on January 12th. We will be playing 2 rounds of 18 holes.
The results are posted for the La Mirada Disc Golf Club Monthly tournament, which was held way back in October 13th. We played one round of the La Mirada Championship Course. We had 30 players in four divisions Open (8), Advanced (6), Intermediate (9) and Novice (7).
As usual the results are stored on the Results page.
Attention Disc Golfers! We will be having our Monthly Disc Golf Tournament on Saturday, December 8th, We will tee off at 10am so please be signed up and ready to play by 9:45AM.

Attention Disc Golfers!
It has come to my attention that the City of La Mirada has allowed a 5K run to occur on the same day as our Monthly Disc Golf Event.
Because of this there is a VERY GOOD CHANCE that we will NOT be playing the Championship course, but will instead play 2 rounds of 18 holes with a break in the middle.
I will try and be at the course early tomorrow morning to decide. If we do postpone the Championship layout then we will play it for our Normal Monthly in November.
The La Mirada Disc Golf Club will be hosting their Monthly Disc Golf Tournament this Saturday, September 29th. We will be playing a Championship PAR 68 Course This Month... It will include both 18 holes courses combined into one round of 18 holes. There will be at least 4 par 4's and one par 5 in this tournament. The Novice field will be limited to the first nine players or Club Members Only. In other words, if you are a club member and want to play Novice then you have a spot. If you are NOT a Club member then make sure you are one of the first nine players to register.
Attention Disc Golfers!
The Last Official Weekly Disc Golf Tournament for 2012 will be held on Tuesday, September 25th. We will be teeing off at 4:30pm so please get registered early and be ready to play by 4:30pm.
As a reminder, Dale Chambless will be holding a Random Draw Doubles Event on Tuesday in place of the weekly tournament thru the Winter. That tournament will eventually start around 4pm. Please post questions through Facebook at the La Mirada Disc Golf Club page.
