The La Mirada Disc Golf Club held their weekly tournament on Tuesday, March 13th at 5pm. We had an AWESOME turnout for this event and we want to welcome the Open players back.
We had 34 players in four (4) divisions, Open (6), Advanced (9), Intermediate (7) and Novice (12).
In the Open Division it was Craig Neill who surprised the rest of the Open players with his awesome round of 42 (-12). He takes home $47 for his effort.
In the Advanced Division it was regular Rory Coe who took 1st with a score of 47 (-7) for $29.
The La Mirada Disc Golf Club has just received their 2012 Bag Tags. The new tags turned out great this time. So for those people that already joined the La Mirada Disc Golf Club, please make an effort to contact Rick Ascheri at either the Weekly or Monthly Tournament and exchange your temporary 2012 tag for the latest and greatest. If you haven't already renewed your membership for this year then please try and come do it as soon as possible. I'll be handing out numbers 1-50 first and then it will be a random draw for the remaining tags... Right now we are in the 20's...
The La Mirada Disc Golf Club held their first weekly disc golf tournament for 2012 on Tuesday, February 28th at 4pm.
We had a small turnout, but everyone that showed up had fun. We had one (1) Open player (Steve Tolo), Two (2) Advanced Players, Mike Sheridan and Kyle Maddox. We had four (4) Intermediate players, Nicholas Bermudez, Josef McConnell, Patrick McConnell and Kendall Cordova. We had five (5) Novice players, Nicko Lacastro, Nick Mata, Isaac Mata, Ryan Crane and Kyle Cook. Thanks to all for showing up for the 1st weekly of the year.
We had an awesome turnout for the 1st La Mirada Disc Golf Club Monthly Tournament. We had 48 players in four (4) divisions, Open (10), Advanced (14), Intermediate (11) and Novice (12). This month we played two (2) 18-hole rounds of disc golf. We started at 10am and played the Lakeside-18 PAR 54 course. After about a 45 minute break we played the BACK-18 PAR 57 course.
In the Open division it was regular Bobby Musick who spanked the rest of the Open players with a score of 82 (-19) for $56.
