Monthly Results Posted for Saturday, June 30th

On Saturday, June 30th the La Mirada Disc Golf Club held their Monthly Disc Golf Tournament at La Mirada Regional Park. Since this was the 5th Saturday of the month we played one (1) round of 18 holes. We played the BACK-18 PAR 57 course. We had a good turnout with 33 players in four (4) divisions, Open (5), Advanced (13), Intermediate (10) and Novice (5).

In the Open division it was our regular youngster Kyle Maddox who beat the rest of the Open players with a score of 49 (-8) for $39.

In the Advanced division it was another regular youngster Andre Sarinana with a score of 54 (-3) for $34.

In the Intermediate division it was regular Eric Seelbinder who took 1st place with a score of 55 (-2) for $26. Congratulations Eric. Eric's new rating will put him in Advanced for his next tournament.

In the Novice division we had a tie for 1st place between Ohn Scoggins and new comer Michael Sims. They both shot 67 (+10). As usual the Novice players did a random draw for a used disc.

We also want to congratulate Andre Sarinana who hit the ACE on hole #1 on the Back-18. Andre takes home $97 for his effort.

There is NO WEEKLY ON TUESDAY, July 3rd so the next weekly will be on Tuesday, July 10th at 4:45pm.
